Learn the women, stories, and history behind the lyrics of my first album, "Mountains and Matriarchs." This album highlights the specific stories and experiences of women in the mountains, historically from pioneer times and in modern mountain climbing pursuits.

From the historically accurate recount of the first and only woman hung in Alberta, to the story or a bear that wandered into town from the mountains, to the story of a woman who has worked so hard to keep weeds that would kill the original plants out of the parks near her house, to a story of a woman who helped me find a trail when I was lost in a storm.
